I have tested a variety of air purifiers over the past years, trying devices from dozens of brands. However, just a few months ago, I had the opportunity to test air purifiers from Shark and Aroeve, making this article a great opportunity to compare them.
Thus, I will compare the Shark HP102 and the Aroeve MK01, two small air purifiers with great features and similar design principles. They are also very popular among users.
The Shark HP102 is suitable for rooms of about 124 sq. ft., while the Aroeve MK01 is mentioned for smaller rooms of about 47 sq. ft. Both air purifiers clean the air 4.8 times per hour in their recommended room sizes.
Each purifier uses three-stage filtration technology, including a pre-filter, a HEPA filter (True HEPA in the case of the Shark), and a carbon filter. The filters in both are cylindrical, hollow in the middle, and placed inside the bottom part of the device.
I performed an in-depth analysis of both, tested their performance, noise levels, and power usage, and in this comparison, will decide on which one is a better buying option.

Final Conclusion: Which one is Better?
Clearly, the Shark HP102 is a more powerful device. It has a larger filter, a True HEPA filter, and an air quality sensor feature. These advantages are more than enough to declare it the better buying option in this comparison.
On the other hand, the Aroeve MK01 is very affordable and one of the best-selling air purifiers on the market. However, this isn’t enough to beat an air purifier like the Shark HP102.
