Levoit makes some outstanding air purifiers, and to date, I have had the opportunity to test nearly all of them. In this article, I will compare the Levoit Core 200S and Vital 200S while focusing on their features, performance, and test results.
Probably the most noticeable difference here is the larger size of the Levoit Vital 200S, which contributes to its higher airflow. It also has more advanced features and overall better filters.
Both models use a three-stage filtration technology. However, the Vital 200S boasts a unique pre-filter that looks like a mosquito mesh. This filter is washable and easy to clean, making it an ideal choice for homes with pets.
Regarding coverage, the Core 200S is suitable for small rooms up to 183 sq. ft., whereas the Vital 200S can handle much larger spaces, approximately 380 sq. ft. For detailed performance and specification comparisons, please refer to the table below.

Final Thoughts: Which one is Better?
The Levoit Vital 200S ranks as one of the best air purifiers I’ve reviewed from Levoit, and it would be surprising if the Core 200S outperformed it in this comparison.
The Core 200S is an excellent option for small bedrooms and similar spaces. However, for most other scenarios, the Levoit Vital 200S is my top and only recommendation.
